Abstract/Summary: O*Net OnLine provides user-friendly access to O*NET occupational information including information on skills, abilities, knowledge, work activities, and interests associated with a variety of occupations. This information can be used to find careers to explore, search for occupations that use your skills, and use other classification systems (DOT, SOC, MOC, and RAIS) to find matching O*NET-SOC occupations. If your search identifies occupations that require skills or abilities that may be difficult to use because of a disability or health problem, a link is provided to the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) and SOAR (Searchable Online Accommodation Resource) of the U.S. DOL Office of Disability Employment Policy. Information in O*NET is updated twice a year. Each occupational title and code is based on the most current version of the Standard Occupational Classification system.
